E-bikes are gaining traction in the US, and they have already been adopted in Europe. But until I spent the last week in Austria, I had no idea of just how popular electronic bikes had become. Every time I turned around there was a pedal assist bike close by.
These new bikes are very adaptable. You can customize the amount of power out to the wheels and monitor battery usage, GPS directions, and other metrics. To do all this many companies are developing applications to use on your smart phone with you e-bike.
